Blackpink’s Lisa is reportedly expanding her acting career with a significant role in an upcoming Netflix romantic comedy, sources reveal.
The film is said to be inspired by the beloved 1999 rom-com “Notting Hill,” starring Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant. Fans are excited about the potential parallels and modern twists.
This project marks a reunion for Lisa with executive producer David Bernad, known for his work on the critically acclaimed HBO series “The White Lotus.” Lisa’s acting debut occurred in the show’s third season last year. Their shared love for classic romantic comedies led to the development of this new project. Lisa will also serve as a co-executive producer, with Bernad as a producer.
Lisa is also scheduled to appear in the Netflix movie “TYGO,” a spin-off of the action-packed film “Extraction,” alongside Don Lee and Lee Jinuk. This diverse range of roles highlights her versatility as an actress.
In addition to her acting ventures, Lisa will return to her musical roots with Blackpink on Feb. 27, as the group releases their highly anticipated third EP, “Deadline.” Stay tuned for more updates on Lisa’s exciting career!
