RBW Entertainment is a prominent agency known for managing successful K-pop artists such as the acclaimed girl group MAMAMOO and the band ONEWE. The company also oversees subsidiary labels including DSP Media and WM Entertainment, operating under the leadership of CEO Kim Jin-woo and acclaimed composer Kim Do-hoon.
Prior to this announcement, Kwon Eunbi had decided against renewing her exclusive contract with her former agency, Woollim Entertainment, and had been actively seeking a new management company. Industry insiders widely speculated that Galaxy Corporation was a strong candidate for her next venture. While both parties engaged in positive discussions regarding an exclusive contract, fueled by enthusiastic overtures from Galaxy Corporation, negotiations ultimately faltered during the final stages of detailed coordination.
Kwon Eunbi made her debut in 2014 and rose to widespread fame in 2018 after being selected as a member of the project girl group IZ*ONE through Mnet’s highly popular audition program, ‘Produce 48’. Following the conclusion of IZ*ONE’s successful activities, she transitioned into a thriving solo artist, captivating fans with a series of hit tracks including ‘Door,’ ‘Glitch,’ ‘Underwater,’ ‘The Flash,’ and ‘Hello Stranger.’
