K-pop sensation TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) has achieved a new milestone, with their 8th mini-album surpassing 1.8 million copies in first-week album sales. This impressive feat solidifies their position as global leaders in the music industry.
According to the album sales tracking site Hanteo Chart on the 20th, TOMORROW X TOGETHER (members Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai)’s 8th mini-album, titled ‘7TH YEAR: When the Wind Briefly Stopped in the Thicket,’ recorded a staggering 1,806,740 copies sold between April 13th and 19th. This achievement earned them the No. 1 spot on the weekly album chart, showcasing the immense popularity and dedicated fanbase of TXT.
This latest figure remarkably surpasses the first-week sales of their previous work, the 4th full-length album ‘The Star Chapter: TOGETHER,’ which sold 1,760,867 copies. The new album itself became an instant million-seller on its very first day of release, selling close to 1.36 million copies. With this success, TOMORROW X TOGETHER has now set an incredible record of achieving seven consecutive first-week million-seller albums, a testament to their consistent growth and impact.
TOMORROW X TOGETHER has been actively promoting their title track, ‘Stick With You (A Day More, Just One More Day),’ across various music shows. Their vibrant stages began with Mnet’s ‘M Countdown,’ followed by KBS 2TV’s ‘Music Bank,’ MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core,’ and SBS’s ‘Inkigayo.’ During a music show interview, the members shared their heartfelt thoughts: “This album honestly captures the emotions we’ve experienced over the seven years since our debut. Thanks to the unwavering support of our fans, we are able to promote with renewed energy. Please continue to watch us until the very end.”

The captivating performances showcased on music shows are consistently drawing enthusiastic reactions from fans worldwide. The intricate tutting movements, utilizing hand and arm joints, intuitively expressed the poignant emotion of the song, leaving a powerful impression. The dynamic choreography, which cleverly utilizes their long legs, highlighted the impressive stature of the five members, quickly becoming a trending topic on various social media platforms as the “long leg bragging dance.” Their stable vocal abilities, charismatic stage presence, and immersive facial expressions demonstrated the seasoned expertise befitting a group celebrating their 7th year. Furthermore, the stage production, which ingeniously recreated elements from the new album’s concept photos and incorporated fluorescent thorn bush objects, significantly enhanced the immersion of the performance, captivating the audience’s attention.
As the performances gain significant word-of-mouth, TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s music is also performing exceptionally well on both domestic and international music charts. Their title track maintained its top position on Bugs’ daily chart for six consecutive days, from April 13th to 18th. During the same period, it also earned a spot on Melon’s daily ‘Top 100.’ The new album, featuring a total of six diverse tracks, climbed to 2nd place on Japan’s Oricon latest ‘Daily Album Ranking’ (dated April 18th). This follows its impressive debut at No. 1 on the chart on its first day of local release (April 14th) and a subsequent recapture of the top spot on the April 17th chart, showcasing its sustained popularity in Japan.
