Singer and actress IU recently garnered attention for her thoughtful gesture towards the celebrity couple Lee Sang-soon and Lee Hyori.
On April 21st, a video titled ‘Human Cherry Blossom IU Appears on Wanharu. Radio Behind-the-Scenes with the Boss After a Long Time’ was uploaded to the YouTube channel ‘Idol Radio Universe’.
The released video featured IU as a guest on ‘Lee Sang-soon’s Perfect Day’. Upon seeing IU, Lee Sang-soon warmly greeted her with a hug, exclaiming, “Oh, it’s been a long time!” The two first connected through the JTBC variety show ‘Hyori’s Homestay’, which aired in 2017.
IU continued to show her warm affection, saying, “Please eat this with unnie (Lee Hyori). It’s yakgwa (Korean traditional dessert).” Lee Sang-soon, in turn, gifted IU with chocolates, asking, “Do you still eat sweet things these days?”
Previously, IU and the couple Lee Sang-soon and Lee Hyori earned immense affection for their unique chemistry on ‘Hyori’s Homestay’. However, Lee Hyori personally dispelled these rumors last year during an appearance on the YouTube channel ‘Ppyeongyego’ by mentioning IU.
During that broadcast, while discussing gifts, Lee Hyori expressed her gratitude, saying, “There are a few people who look out for me, like Yoo Jae-suk oppa and IU. I’m so thankful for even the smallest gesture.” This clearly demonstrated their unchanging friendship.
