BTS Reveals World Tour Insights & New Album Thoughts During FESTA Celebrations
Global sensation BTS (RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook) unveiled exclusive behind-the-scenes stories from their world tour and shared their candid thoughts on their upcoming new album during the ‘FESTA’ celebrations, commemorating their debut anniversary (June 13th). The members revealed these concert insights on June 11th at midnight KST via their official YouTube channel.
This monumental world tour featured an astounding 86 shows across 34 cities, marking the most extensive single tour ever by a Korean artist. The Goyang concerts alone saw three consecutive sold-out nights, attracting over 130,000 enthusiastic fans. Reflecting on those moments, the members shared, “Standing on stage, letting the rain fall on us, we couldn’t help but laugh.” They added, “Before, we didn’t quite know how to spend our time after performances, but now we’re filling it with precious small memories, like having dinner together in the evenings, which feels incredibly special.”
Recalling their experience at the National Palace in Mexico City, the members expressed, “We were incredibly surprised by the sheer crowd filling Zócalo Square. We weren’t sure if it was for a festival or for us.” They also elaborated on their song, saying, “‘SWIM’ is a romantic track, embodying the meaning of protecting something dear. As seven members, we believe we were able to deliver its pop-infused yet universal message even more effectively.”
Comparing their current selves to four years ago during a previous ‘FESTA,’ they highlighted their significant growth and maturity. In particular, they noted, “While the energy of the seven members remains constant, as individuals, we’ve matured, making us much more harmonious and effective as a group. It truly feels like we’ve become adults.” They also emphasized, “This is just the beginning; there’s so much more to do. We hope you’ll continue to support us so we can successfully conclude the tour happily and healthily.” They added a heartfelt message of thanks: “We are truly grateful that you’ve remained steadfastly by our side, even after our long-awaited return. Please look forward to the Busan concert as well.”
BTS is set to hold ‘BTS WORLD TOUR ‘ARIRANG’ IN BUSAN’ on June 12th-13th at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium. The celebrations will continue throughout Busan until the end of June with the ‘BTS THE CITY ARIRANG – BUSAN’ project, transforming the entire city into a festival.
