Global superstar group BTS has achieved a remarkable milestone, securing the #1 spot on Spotify’s Weekly Chart for 5 consecutive weeks with their hit new song, ‘ARIRANG’.
According to their agency BIGHIT MUSIC on the 25th, BTS continued their reign at the top for five weeks on Spotify’s ‘Weekly Top Album Global’ chart (tracking period: April 17-April 23) on the globally recognized audio and music streaming platform.
On the ‘Weekly Top Song Global’ chart, all 14 tracks from their new album, including the powerful title track ‘SWIM’ (ranking 3rd), successfully charted for the fifth consecutive week, demonstrating the album’s widespread and consistent popularity. ‘SWIM’ further solidified its success by ranking 2nd on the ‘Daily Top Song Global’ chart (as of April 23rd), maintaining a top-tier position for an impressive 35 consecutive days.
The album ‘ARIRANG’ proudly secured 13th place on the UK Official Charts’ ‘Official Album Top 100’ (for April 24-April 30), announced on the 25th, maintaining its strong presence in the upper ranks for the fifth week. ‘SWIM’ also made its mark at 34th on the ‘Official Singles Top 100’. In the detailed charts, the ‘Official Singles Download’ held strong at 5th place for 5 consecutive weeks, keeping its spot in the highly competitive ‘Top 5’. The tour has already drawn over 240,000 attendees in Goyang and Tokyo alone, selling out all 46 scheduled shows and unequivocally proving their immense ticket power.
