Prior to their much-anticipated appearance, BTS, through a statement released by their agency BigHit Music, expressed profound honor in participating in such a momentous global spectacle. The group articulated their belief that music stands as “a universal language that conveys hope and unity,” a message powerfully amplified by their performance.
While Jungkook previously graced the opening ceremony of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar with a solo act, this electrifying Sunday performance marked a significant milestone: it was the very first time all seven members of BTS performed together at a FIFA World Cup final, cementing their legacy in both music and sports history.
