This marks Christopher Nolan’s inaugural visit to South Korea, generating significant excitement among fans. Matt Damon, however, is no stranger to the country, having previously visited in 2016 for the promotion of his action thriller, “Jason Bourne.”
During their South Korean visit, Nolan and Damon are scheduled to appear on tvN’s popular show, “You Quiz on the Block.” The special episode will feature a candid conversation focused on “The Odyssey,” alongside their insights into filmmaking and acting. While tvN has confirmed their appearance, the broadcast date for this highly anticipated episode has not yet been announced.
Nolan’s “The Odyssey” is a captivating retelling of the epic tale, following the legendary Greek king Odysseus, portrayed by Matt Damon. The film chronicles his perilous journey to return to his wife, Penelope, following the devastating Trojan War. This cinematic event is slated for local release on August 5th.
