Award-winning Korean Canadian filmmaker Maggie Kang, celebrated for co-directing Netflix’s critically acclaimed and Oscar and Golden Globe-winning animated film “KPop Demon Hunters,” has announced a new partnership with a leading Korean entertainment agency. Kang’s directorial prowess was globally recognized when “KPop Demon Hunters” secured both the prestigious Oscar and Golden Globe awards for Best Animated Feature. This new collaboration will see the agency managing Kang’s professional activities within Korea. Notably, the agency also represents acclaimed actor Ahn Hyo-seop, known for his voice role as Jinu, the charismatic leader of the Saja Boys in “KPop Demon Hunters.” Her international endeavors will continue to be managed by her U.S.-based agency, UTA.
