Korean Culture Events BTS Concert Launch

Experience a vibrant celebration of Korean culture and its connection to the global phenomenon, BTS! Events kicking off this Friday will include captivating exhibitions, interactive hands-on experiences, and electrifying performances.

Don’t miss BTS’s highly anticipated performance at Gwanghwamun Square this Saturday at 8 p.m. The concert, marking the release of their new album, “Arirang,” is expected to draw an immense crowd of approximately 260,000 people, including 22,000 lucky ticket holders.

Immerse yourself further with the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art (MMCA)’s English-language guided tour, “MMCA: Meet the K-Art,” available to international visitors until April 19. The Seoul gallery will also showcase “BTS Sound Cube,” a stunning large-scale outdoor media installation featuring the band’s iconic music through mesmerizing projection mapping.

Delve into traditional Korean culture with the National Folk Museum’s special program, “K-Culture Folk Experience with BTS,” running until April 30. Participate in classic Korean folk games like “tuho” (arrow throwing), top spinning, and “jegichagi,” reminiscent of the games featured on the popular YouTube show, “Run BTS.”

Explore a unique exhibit at the National Museum of Korean Contemporary History, featuring a time capsule donated by BTS, accompanied by a fascinating video presentation, on display until May 31. From April to June, children can engage in a special program that explores “Arirang” as a symbol of Korea’s modern cultural identity, connecting the 100th anniversary of director Na Woon-gyu’s 1926 film “Arirang” with BTS’s highly anticipated new album of the same name.

The National Library of Korea will host an exhibition from this Friday to April 12, highlighting literary works that served as sources of inspiration for the group’s heartfelt lyrics, including poems by renowned poets Kim Yeong-nang and Yun Dong-ju.

Welcome messages for BTS and its fan base, ARMY, are displayed on media poles along Seoul's Myeongdong shopping street ahead of the group's free concert at Gwanghwamun on March 21, 2026, in this photo provided by the city's Jung Ward office on March 19. (PHOTO NOT FOR SALE) ()
