The popular K-pop group Enhypen, which debuted in 2020, currently consists of seven members: Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-ki.
Belift Lab, Enhypen’s agency, has announced that Heeseung will be transitioning from his role within the group to focus on solo activities. While the agency confirmed the shift, a specific timeline for Heeseung’s upcoming solo projects was not immediately provided.
“We have carefully discussed Enhypen’s direction and next goals,” the agency stated in a message posted on Weverse, Hybe’s K-pop fan community platform. The statement further explained that the decision came after “deep conversations” regarding each member’s future aspirations and the overall direction of the team. “We recognized Heeseung’s clear musical orientation and chose to respect his decision,” they added.
Heeseung, in a separate message to fans, expressed gratitude to his fellow Enhypen members and their dedicated fanbase, known as ENGENE, while confirming that he is currently preparing an album for his solo debut.
“I’ll keep your love in my heart and keep moving forward,” he assured fans.
