BigHit Music has announced the release of additional standing tickets for BTS’ “Arirang” concert on March 21, available through NOL Ticket starting Thursday. While the specific number of new tickets wasn’t revealed, it’s estimated to be around 7,000, increasing the concert’s capacity to approximately 22,000 attendees from the initially planned 15,000.
These new standing areas will extend from the Gwanghwamun intersection towards the City Hall subway station, allowing fans to enjoy the performance on large LED screens strategically placed throughout the area, according to BigHit Music.
BigHit emphasized that this expanded capacity was planned with “safety and crowd control as top priorities.” They have also committed to actively monitoring and preventing illegal ticket resales through real-time monitoring and reinforced identity verification procedures to combat scalping and unauthorized access.
The “Arirang” concert celebrates the release of BTS’ highly anticipated fifth studio album, “Arirang,” on March 20. The concert will also be streamed live globally on Netflix.
