K-pop sensation (G)I-DLE has announced their highly anticipated return to North America with their “Syncopation” tour! The exciting news broke on NBC’s “Today Show” Wednesday, where the members shared their eagerness to reconnect with their beloved fans, known as Neverland.
“(Our last) tour was two years ago, so we miss our fans so much,” Yuqi exclaimed, expressing the group’s longing to perform for their North American audience.
During their “Today Show” appearance, (G)I-DLE also treated viewers to a performance of their latest hit single, “Mono (Feat. skaiwater).”
Cube Entertainment, (G)I-DLE’s agency, unveiled the official poster for the North American leg of the “Syncopation” world tour via the group’s social media channels on Thursday, sending fans into a frenzy.
According to the tour poster, the North American leg kicks off on August 2nd in Hamilton, Canada, and will continue with shows in Newark, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Orlando, San Antonio, Mexico City, Los Angeles, Oakland, and Seattle. These shows promise to be (G)I-DLE’s biggest performances in the region to date.
The “Syncopation” world tour began last month in Seoul and will travel to other Asian cities including Taipei and Bangkok, as well as Australia, before making its way to North America. Cube Entertainment has teased that more cities and dates will be revealed soon, so fans should stay tuned for further updates.
