Zerobaseone (ZB1) will continue as a five-member group! Sung Han-bin, Kim Ji-woong, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae-rae, and Park Gun-wook have decided to extend their activities based on deep trust and mutual commitment, according to their agency.
However, Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyu-vin, and Han Yu-jin have concluded their project contracts and will be pursuing individual activities going forward, the agency confirmed.
“We will fully support their future endeavors and ask fans to continue showing them encouragement,” the agency added.
The popular K-pop group Zerobaseone, also known as ZB1, was formed through Mnet’s survival audition program “Boys Planet.” The nine-member group debuted in July 2023 and quickly achieved widespread success, boasting six consecutive million-selling albums.
Initially planned as a 2.5-year project, the group’s activities were scheduled to end in January 2026. However, in December, all nine members agreed to a two-month extension for a February album release and an encore concert held in Seoul in March.
WakeOne has pledged its “full support” to ensure a smooth transition to the new five-member lineup and will help all members “continue to grow together as companions.”
