Former Enhypen member Heeseung is officially reintroducing himself as solo artist Evan, with Belift Lab releasing his new profile images on Thursday. This marks a significant new chapter for the K-pop idol following his departure from the popular boy band.
Belift Lab revealed that Evan’s new solo concept embraces simplicity and authenticity. His freshly unveiled profile images feature minimal styling, natural hair, and understated makeup, aiming to present the K-pop singer’s “most unfiltered and authentic form” before he is defined by a specific musical genre or theme.
The agency further explained that the stage name Evan carries deep personal significance for the artist, having been used since childhood, and also hints at a key aspect of his upcoming musical direction.
While details about Evan’s debut music and releases remain under wraps, Belift Lab’s press release quoted him expressing a desire to connect with listeners through music that embodies his “most honest and natural self.” This solo venture is anticipated to showcase a distinct musical style, as Belift Lab previously confirmed Evan’s departure from Enhypen was driven by his pursuit of a “clear musical direction.”

Heeseung, who debuted with Enhypen in 2020, established himself as a versatile vocalist with remarkable performance skills and stage presence. His departure from the popular boy band on March 10 to launch a solo career has, however, sparked significant fan activity. Since the announcement, dedicated Enhypen fans have rallied across various platforms, initiating petitions, funding digital billboard campaigns, and organizing in-person demonstrations in a concerted effort to see the beloved idol return to the group.
Throughout his tenure with Enhypen, Heeseung also demonstrated his capabilities as a singer-songwriter, contributing to the songwriting and production of tracks like “Highway 1009” and “Dial Tragedy,” foreshadowing his potential as a solo artist.
