South Korea experienced a rebound in industrial production last month, fueled by growth in both the manufacturing and services sectors, according to newly released government data on Tuesday.
The nation’s industrial output saw a 2.5 percent increase in February compared to the previous month. This follows a 1.3 percent month-on-month decrease recorded in January, as reported by the Ministry of Data and Statistics.
Retail sales, a crucial indicator reflecting private consumer spending, showed no change from the month prior. While sales of semi-durable goods, including clothing items, decreased, there was a corresponding increase in sales of food and beverage products.
