TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) heightens comeback anticipation with the release of their second concept photo.
TXT (Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, Hueningkai) unveiled the ‘HUNGER’ version concept photo for their 8th mini album, ‘7TH YEAR: A brief moment the wind stops at the thorn bush’ on their official social media at 0:00 on the 29th. This is the second photo following the earlier released ‘THORN’ version.
If ‘THORN’ captured the five members trapped in a thorn bush, ‘HUNGER’ expresses the primal hunger that comes after a storm. The cracked ground and overturned car suggest the aftermath of a storm. The yellow thorns sprouting through the asphalt add a fantastical atmosphere.
In contrast, the members sport a refreshing visual, dressed comfortably as if they just woke up. Soobin holding a shopping basket, Yeonjun leaning on a broken car, Beomgyu throwing fruit, Taehyun eating cereal, and Hueningkai sitting on an overturned car with a dazed expression stand out with their lovable charm. Their peacefulness contrasts with the background that suggests a major event, creating a fresh atmosphere.
TXT is showcasing a variety of visuals using the ‘thorn’ in the album title as a metaphor. As a team that has built their unique color by unraveling the narrative of their albums with distinctive visuals, this new album also promises to be a ‘TXT-like result.’
TXT will release ‘TENSION’ concept photos on March 31st and ‘ANXIETY’ version on April 2nd, completing the visuals for their 8th mini album.
