The animated Netflix hit “KPop Demon Hunters” and its fictional girl group, Huntr/x, swept the awards, winning Duo/Group of the Year and Favorite Soundtrack (voted by fans). Their song “Golden” from the original soundtrack also snagged K-pop Song of the Year.
Rose triumphed with Best Collaboration for “APT.,” her single featuring Bruno Mars, and was also named K-pop Artist of the Year.
BLACKPINK’s Jennie, Rose’s bandmate, secured K-pop Album of the Year with her solo release, “Ruby.”
Stray Kids took home K-pop Group of the Year, while Cortis was recognized as Best New Artist in K-pop.
K-pop’s influence was clear in the fan-voted categories as well.
BTS’s J-Hope won Favorite TikTok Dance for his solo track “Mona Lisa” and Favorite K-pop Collab for “Sweet Dreams,” with Miguel.
“Are You Sure?!,” the Disney+ series starring BTS members Jimin and Jungkook, won Favorite On Screen. Rahul Bhatt, photographer for Katseye, won Favorite Tour Photographer.
Taylor Swift was the night’s overall winner, taking home seven awards including Artist of the Year.
