The 20th International Security Conference (ISEC 2026) will be held August 11-12 at Coex in Seoul. This premier cybersecurity event will bring together global leaders to discuss the future of security in the face of rapid industry growth and increasing digital threats, according to organizers.
Focusing on “The Future of AI-Driven Autonomous Security,” ISEC 2026 is poised to be a crucial platform for exploring emerging cyber risks and the accelerating adoption of AI-powered security solutions.
South Korea’s cybersecurity market has seen significant expansion following a series of high-profile data breaches in 2025, impacting companies like Coupang, major telecom providers, and leading financial institutions. With the government’s push for enhanced data protection and security infrastructure, the domestic cybersecurity sector is projected to grow by 16.1 percent, reaching 4.08 trillion won, as indicated in a recent report.

Celebrating its 20th year, ISEC 2026 will feature over 120 sessions across 25 tracks. The conference will also include exhibitions, specialized workshops, and hands-on training programs designed for more than 10,000 cybersecurity professionals.
ISEC 2026 will highlight the industry’s transition from traditional automation to AI-driven “autonomous security,” offering actionable insights into effectively responding to real-world cyber threats, according to conference organizers.
“As we enter the era of agentic AI and physical AI, the rapid evolution of technology presents new challenges,” stated Lee Ki-joo, chair of the ISEC organizing committee. “ISEC 2026 will be the definitive platform for exploring the development and management of autonomous security in response to these changes.”
ISEC 2026 is hosted by its organizing committee and co-organized by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA), the Korea CISO Association, and TheBN. The event is supported by over 50 government ministries and organizations, including the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, and the Personal Information Protection Commission.
