This impressive figure represents a combination of real-time viewers and those who tuned in within the first 24 hours after the broadcast, according to Netflix.
The immense popularity propelled the show to the top spot on Netflix’s weekly movie charts in 24 countries, the company revealed.
The seven-member group performed live at Gwanghwamun Square on Saturday night, captivating tens of thousands of fans in celebration of their fifth studio album, “Arirang,” which was released the day before.
The highly anticipated event generated a significant online buzz. Netflix reported that BTS-related content on its official channels amassed 2.62 billion impressions. Furthermore, hashtags associated with BTS and Netflix became trending topics across numerous countries, including the United States, South Korea, the Philippines, Australia, Malaysia, India, Thailand, Argentina, the United Kingdom, and Turkey.
