Ahead of BTS‘s Jungkook’s comeback, his Chinese fan club is organizing large-scale support events around Gwanghwamun.
Jungkook’s Chinese fan club, ‘Jungkook China,’ is demonstrating its fan power by showcasing various advertisements coinciding with BTS’s comeback performance on the 21st in Gwanghwamun, Seoul.
‘Jungkook China’ will be screening advertisements on the Lumimi Media electronic display board in the heart of Gwanghwamun, measuring 22.2m in width and 30.5m in height, more than 70 times a day from March 16th to 22nd. Furthermore, from March 15th to 29th, support advertisements will be broadcast on the CM pillar four-sided screen at Gwanghwamun Station. From March 20th to 22nd, advertisements will also be displayed on the massive LED electronic display board (approximately 363 pyeong or 1200㎡) of the Koreana Hotel, located at the intersection of Sejong-daero and Cheonggyecheon in Gwanghwamun.

The domestic fan club, ‘Jungkook Supporters,’ is also participating in this support. They will be running comeback advertisements on the Lumimi Media electronic display board, Cheonggye Korea Building, KT Gwanghwamun Building WEST Media Wall, KT Square, and Lux Super Large Electronic Display Board.
Jungkook’s popularity within China is particularly prominent. To commemorate his military discharge, Chinese fans simultaneously broadcast celebratory advertisements on hundreds of large screens across 35 cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, and Hangzhou. Furthermore, they operated a discharge commemorative bus wrapped with Jungkook’s photos around the HYBE new building.
They also conducted large-scale discharge advertisements on the S-LIVE electronic display board and C-Live outdoor billboard in COEX Mall, Samsung-dong, Seoul, and provided food truck support in front of the HYBE building. ‘Jungkook China’ carried out more than 33 support events in various countries around the world for Jungkook’s birthday and held Haeundae and Han River fireworks events in Korea for two consecutive years.
