BTS’s Jin continues to prove his immense popularity in Japan.
According to the Oricon 2025 Yearly Chart, Jin’s solo album “Echo” ranked 39th, marking the highest record for a K-pop soloist. This is the only K-pop solo entry on the chart, highlighting Jin’s unparalleled popularity in Japan.

Jin’s “Echo” also topped the Billboard JAPAN 2025 Yearly Chart (aggregate period: November 25, 2024 – November 23, 2025) ‘Download Album Chart’ at number 24, the highest rank among all K-pop artists, including groups and soloists, showcasing his overwhelming popularity.
On Billboard JAPAN’s 2025 Yearly ‘Top Album Sales Chart,’ Jin’s “Echo” achieved the highest record for a K-pop soloist at number 41. Notably, Jin is the first K-pop soloist to have all three of his solo albums (2022, 2024, and 2025) enter the Billboard JAPAN Yearly ‘Top Album Sales Chart,’ with each album achieving the highest rank for a K-pop solo album in its respective year, marking a new milestone.
Jin also ranked 58th on the 2025 Billboard JAPAN Yearly Artist 100 chart, achieving the highest rank for a Korean male solo artist.

Meanwhile, on the ‘Oricon Weekly Music DVD Chart’ released on February 5th, Jin’s solo concert Blu-ray ‘#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR in JAPAN’ took first place, demonstrating his explosive popularity and influence. ‘#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR in JAPAN’ features Jin’s Osaka Kyocera Dome concert, where all seats, including the 8th floor (the very top) and limited-view seats, were sold out, a rare feat in Japan. The breathtaking view of the audience filling the dome and performing a wave during Jin’s fantastic stage as a visual and live performance king was also a major highlight.
Jin’s world tour Blu-ray ‘#RUNSEOKJIN_epTOUR in Japan’ topped Amazon Japan and Rakuten DVD/Blu-ray best-seller charts immediately after its release and also ranked #1 on the Universal Music Japan Store’s best-selling products, proving his overwhelming popularity.
From June 28th to August 10th of last year, Jin held his first solo fan concert and world tour, ‘#RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR,’ with 18 shows in 9 cities. Based on the average box office revenue per city, Jin broke the all-time highest record for an Asian soloist in ‘Pollstar’s Top 20 Global Concert Tours’ and also set a new record as the highest-ranking Asian soloist on the ‘Billboard Top Tours Monthly Chart’ in July of last year. In August, he also entered the Billboard Top Tours Monthly Chart, achieving another Billboard Top Tours record as the Korean solo artist with the highest revenue from a European tour.
Jin ranked first among solo artists in terms of average audience per show in the 2025 K-pop Idol North American Tour Attendance Ranking, demonstrating his outstanding achievements and solidifying his position as a successful solo musician and global icon.
