The iconic female vocal group SeeYa, consisting of Nam Gyuri, Kim Yeonji, and Lee Boram, is officially counting down to their highly anticipated complete group comeback!

On March 30th at 6 PM KST, SeeYa will release their brand-new single, “Even So, We” (그럼에도 우린), across various online music platforms.

This new song marks a significant collaboration with the legendary producer Park Geun-tae, who was instrumental in creating SeeYa’s golden era and producing numerous hit songs. Park Geun-tae’s expert guidance promises to amplify the uniquely captivating emotional depth that only SeeYa can deliver. Adding to the significance, all three members – Nam Gyuri, Kim Yeonji, and Lee Boram – personally contributed to the songwriting process.

The lyrics are a heartfelt expression of the longing and apologies they couldn’t convey to their fans during their 15-year hiatus, along with the miraculous joy of reuniting. The members’ voices, deepened over two decades, and their flawless harmonies are poised to create an emotionally resonant experience, like a scene from a captivating drama. This song is anticipated to resonate deeply with long-time fans and new listeners alike.

According to sources, the recording session was incredibly emotional. After 15 years of separation, the three members, standing together in front of the microphone, were reportedly overwhelmed with emotion during each chorus, leading to repeated recording interruptions due to uncontrollable tears. Despite the vocal strain caused by constant crying, they persevered through multiple re-recordings, pouring their genuine emotions into the song.

Producer Park Geun-tae, who witnessed the scene firsthand, expressed his confidence, stating, “All of SeeYa’s time and sincerity are condensed into this one song. It will prove to be more than just a reunion track, demonstrating a value that goes far beyond that.” He emphasized the profound emotional connection embedded within the music.

The SeeYa members shared their heartfelt feelings through their agency, saying, “We poured all the stories we had kept buried in our hearts for 20 years into this song. Throughout the recording process, the past flashed before our eyes, and we couldn’t stop crying. We sincerely hope that our sincerity reaches the fans who have waited for us for so long.”

On the day of the single’s release, March 30th, SeeYa will hold a fan meeting at ‘IDLEs’ in Jongno-gu, Seoul, to connect directly with their fans. The members have actively participated in the planning of this fan meeting, aiming to create a meaningful event that reminisces about the past 20 years and promises a new chapter, “SeeYa’s Act II.” Furthermore, following this pre-release track, SeeYa plans to release a full-length album in May, collaborating with top producers like Park Geun-tae and Kim Do-hoon, marking the peak of their comeback activities. Stay tuned for more updates on SeeYa’s highly anticipated return!

SeeYa’s new song “Even So, We,” marking their return after 15 years, will be released on March 30th at 6 PM KST through various music platforms, including Melon, Genie, and FLO.
