K-pop sensation Illit is gearing up for a highly anticipated comeback with their fourth EP, “Mamihlapinatapai,” set to be released on April 30th. The exciting announcement was made at the conclusion of their Seoul concert on Sunday, sending waves of excitement through their fanbase.
According to their agency, Belift Lab, the upcoming EP will feature the captivating main track “It’s Me.”
This release marks Illit’s first new album in approximately ten months, following the success of their third EP, “bomb.” Notably, “bomb” debuted at No. 171 on the Billboard 200, securing their third entry on the prestigious main albums chart. The EP also achieved impressive sales figures, surpassing 400,000 copies in its first week, a remarkable career milestone for the rising group.
The five-member group has already achieved significant success, securing first place on television music chart shows twice with their hit track “Do the Dance.” Furthermore, the B-side track “jellyous” from their third EP recently reached a staggering 100 million streams on Spotify, becoming their seventh song to achieve this milestone.
