“TikToker Taehyung is Coming!” BTS V’s Official TikTok Account Launch Sends Global ARMY into Frenzy

BTS member V, also known as Kim Taehyung, has officially launched his TikTok account, sending the global ARMY into a frenzy of excitement.

V joined TikTok on [Date of Account Creation] with the username @tete_kimv. According to reports, V’s account amassed over 434,000 followers within hours of its launch and surpassed one million followers later that same day. Adding to the excitement, BTS members J-Hope and Jungkook were among his first followers.

The way fans discovered V’s account also garnered attention. On [Date], the day before the account was created, Jungkook unfollowed most accounts on his own TikTok, leaving only J-Hope and the official BTS account. The following day, fans quickly recognized V’s account when they noticed a new account added to Jungkook’s following list.

Fan @i_am_AnkitaD playfully commented, “How is it that I found out about Taehyung’s TikTok through Jungkook, and I find out about Jungkook’s Instagram through Taehyung?” Fan @heyFeera also reacted, “Thank you Hobi and JK for ‘leaking’ Taehyung’s account!”

Fan expectations are especially high due to a previous interview. In a GQ interview, both V and Jungkook expressed interest in trying out a TikTok dance challenge suggested by a fan. V’s TikTok debut has therefore sparked anticipation among fans who believe a dance challenge is imminent. @everythingTaeSg wrote, “Finally! Dance challenges are about to flood in. With V’s addition, the number of BTS members with personal TikTok accounts has risen to three, joining J-Hope and Jungkook. With V’s TikTok presence, attention is focused on whether V’s TikTok activity will further fuel the excitement for the comeback, with the regular album releasing on March 20th.
