Latin boy band Santos Bravos has unleashed their highly anticipated first EP, “Dual,” captivating fans worldwide. The release, marking their first new music in roughly two months, dropped on Friday, according to Hybe Latin America.
The six-track album, as described by the label, showcases the group’s unique and contrasting musical styles. “Dual” is a vibrant blend of genres, including reggaeton, Brazilian funk, and infectious club-inspired beats, promising a diverse and exciting listening experience.
Leading the EP is the captivating track, “Mhm,” a Latin pop gem built upon a foundation of mellow synths and rhythmic percussion. The group’s smooth and warm vocals perfectly complement the song’s theme: the exhilarating rush of falling in love.
Beyond “Mhm,” “Dual” offers other standout tracks, including “Wow,” with its engaging rhythmic arrangement, and “Velocidade,” a high-energy song characterized by its fast tempo and unmistakable influence from Brazilian funk.
The quintet’s new EP boasts impressive contributions from globally recognized producers. Johnny Goldstein, famed for his work with artists like Madonna, lent his expertise to the project. He was joined by the acclaimed Diplo, Vibarco, and Bang Si-hyuk, creating a powerhouse team behind the music.
In addition to the album release, Santos Bravos is giving fans an inside look at their creative process with the debut of a documentary series titled “Behind Dual.” The series is set to premiere on Spotify and the group’s official YouTube channel at 10 a.m. on Sunday. “Behind Dual” will feature episodes dedicated to each member’s personal story, highlighting the making of the album and the group’s overall journey as artists.
Santos Bravos was formed through a reality competition of the same name and officially debuted in Mexico in October 2025. Their previous single, “Kawasaki,” was released on January 30.
