Get ready, MYs! Aespa is reportedly making a comeback in May with a brand new album, according to recent local media reports. Fans are buzzing with anticipation for their next release!
The highly anticipated album follows the success of their previous release, the sixth EP “Rich Man,” which achieved over 1 million sales. This milestone adds to Aespa’s impressive discography, joining their five previous EPs and first LP, “Armageddon,” all of which have also surpassed the 1 million sales mark. Notably, five of these albums reached this feat within a week of release, starting with their second EP “Girls,” a groundbreaking achievement for a K-pop girl group.
The title track from their sixth mini album also dominated domestic television music chart shows, securing first place ten times – a record for Aespa, showcasing their immense popularity and musical impact.
Adding to their diverse activities, Aespa recently lent their voices to the opening theme song for the Japanese television animation “Kill Blue,” further expanding their global reach and fanbase.
Before their highly anticipated comeback, Aespa is set to embark on the international “Synk: aeXis Line” tour in April, with scheduled stops in Jakarta, Indonesia, as well as Osaka and Tokyo, Japan. Stay tuned for more updates on their tour and upcoming album!
