Jimin, a member of the globally renowned boy group BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan), has clinched the top spot on the Star Ranking Star Idol Male Ranking chart.
Jimin secured first place in the 228th Star Ranking Star Idol Male Ranking vote, which ran from 3:01 PM on March 5th to 3:00 PM on March 12th, triumphing over 2PM’s Junho and fellow BTS member Jin.
In this round of voting, Jimin garnered an impressive 47,927 votes. 2PM’s Junho followed in second place with 22,388 votes, and BTS’s Jin secured third place with 13,493 votes.
Star Ranking is a ranking vote where fans directly vote for their favorite stars to determine the rankings. When voting via mobile, fans can receive a voting certificate. The star who ranks highest based on the voting results receives various special benefits.
Stars who secure first place for four consecutive weeks are featured in outdoor billboard advertisements. BTS, including Jimin, is slated for a full group comeback on March 20th. They will also perform in Gwanghwamun Square on March 21st.
