Line Plus, the Korean arm of Line Corporation, introduced ActEngine AI on Thursday. This innovative artificial intelligence platform is designed to revolutionize customer support and sales automation, spearheading Line Plus’ entry into Asia’s burgeoning enterprise AI market.
ActEngine AI distinguishes itself from typical chatbot solutions by utilizing execution-based AI agents. These agents are capable of proactively handling customer service inquiries, resolving complaints, and generating targeted sales proposals. The platform provides a centralized interface for businesses to efficiently manage and deploy these AI agents, optimizing both customer engagement and marketing strategies.
A customer service AI agent, initially launched in Thailand earlier this year, has already proven its effectiveness with Line Man Wongnai, Thailand’s leading food delivery and mobility platform. This implementation handles approximately 360,000 customer requests per year, leading to a 60% reduction in response times and a 16% improvement in accuracy compared to human agents.
Line Plus also unveiled a sales-driven AI agent that analyzes customer behavior—encompassing order history, visit frequency, and price sensitivity—to craft personalized promotions. The company highlights that this tool empowers small businesses by offering continuous sales support, a capability often challenging for traditional sales teams to provide.
Furthermore, ActEngine AI streamlines data management by organizing customer service and sales information into formats optimized for AI training and enhanced performance.
Looking ahead, Line Plus plans to broaden ActEngine AI’s reach across industries such as finance and retail, with the goal of establishing it as a premier global business-to-business AI solution. The company is also actively developing voice-based AI agents to expand the platform’s capabilities beyond text-based interactions and further automate customer support and sales operations.
