Stray Kids dominated the 40th Japan Gold Disc Awards, securing an impressive four awards, announced the organizer on Thursday. This achievement solidifies their position as a leading K-Pop group on the global stage.
The globally popular K-Pop group won the prestigious Album of the Year award, was recognized as Best Artist, their music video earned the Music Video of the Year accolade, and their album was selected as one of the Best 3 Albums in Asia. This makes Stray Kids the most awarded international artist at this year’s ceremony.
Stray Kids’ third Japanese EP, “Hollow,” a landmark release featuring their first entirely Japanese-language tracks, was crowned Album of the Year and recognized as one of the Best 3 Albums. Their live Blu-ray, “SKZ Toy World,” capturing the excitement of their fan meetup in Japan, clinched the Music Video of the Year award.
