Additional seats are opening for the BTS Gwanghwamun Square performance!
In preparation for ‘BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG’, taking place at Gwanghwamun Square on March 21st at 8 PM KST, additional seating will be opened to provide a smoother viewing experience for fans.
The additional seating area will extend to the south of Sejong-daero intersection (from Gwanghwamun Station on Seoul Subway Line 5 to near City Hall Station on Line 1). The entire area will be standing-only, with the performance viewable on large LED screens installed on site. Ticket reservations will be available for free on NOL Ticket starting March 12th at 8 PM KST. Existing ticket holders will not be eligible to reserve additional tickets.
With this expansion, ‘BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG’ is expected to host approximately 22,000 audience members. The seating capacity was carefully determined with on-site safety and crowd dispersion as the top priorities.
Big Hit Music and HYBE are also strengthening measures to prevent ticket scalping and unauthorized entry. They plan to proactively block scalping by monitoring and reporting illegal online transfer postings in real-time. Furthermore, they will enhance identity verification procedures for all audience members to prevent unauthorized entry and introduce additional verification in areas where scalping is expected to be prevalent. Detailed identity verification procedures will be announced in advance on the relevant website to minimize on-site congestion.
This performance will be simultaneously broadcast live on Netflix, marking the first time Netflix streams an artist’s exclusive performance live.
Meanwhile, BTS will release their 5th full-length album, ‘ARIRANG’, on March 20th at 1 PM KST. The album’s title track, ‘SWIM’, sings about the attitude of swimming forward tirelessly through the waves of life. RM took charge of writing the lyrics, adding authenticity to the song.
