BTS Jungkook’s Chinese fan club has captured attention with its massive comeback support.

Jungkook’s Chinese fan club, ‘Jungkook China,’ unveiled a support project for Jungkook via social media X (formerly Twitter) ahead of BTS’ comeback performance in Gwanghwamun, Seoul, on March 21st.

‘Jungkook China’ is broadcasting an advertisement on the Korea Hotel billboard, located at the intersection of Sejong-daero and Cheonggyecheon in Gwanghwamun Square, for three days from March 20th to 22nd. The billboard is approximately 363 pyeong (1200㎡) in size, equivalent to three basketball courts. The fan club is playing a 1-minute video every 30 minutes for 9 and a half hours each day as a show of support.

The fan club secured the last 1-minute ‘golden time’ slot right before the HYBE pre-show video to broadcast Jungkook’s solo advertisement video.

The domestic fan club ‘Jungkook Supporters’ is also running advertisements supporting Jungkook’s comeback on three billboards near Sejong-daero intersection and Cheonggyecheon. In addition, ‘Jungkook China’ has been providing ongoing support across all of Jungkook’s activities.

To commemorate Jungkook’s comeback, the fan club has broadcast TV commercials on the three major terrestrial broadcasting stations multiple times and also ran advertisements to support his performance at the ‘2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup Opening Ceremony.’ Upon the release of Jungkook’s new song, advertisements were placed on various SNS channels, including the New York Times Square billboard.
