Kep1er will release their new album, “Crack Code,” on March 31st as a six-member group, following the departure of Seo Youngeun, Klep Entertainment announced Monday.
The group’s comeback with “Crack Code” marks their return approximately seven months after the release of their seventh EP, “Bubble Gum.”
The upcoming album will feature the six remaining members after Seo Youngeun’s decision to leave the team. She had been on hiatus since July 2025 due to health concerns, and her official departure was confirmed last week.
“The time I spent with Kep1er and Kep1ian was like a treasure, which I would not trade for anything,” Seo Youngeun shared on social media. She hinted at a future solo career, adding that she is preparing to embark on a new chapter as herself. Kep1ian is the official name of Kep1er’s fanbase.
Kep1er debuted in 2022 through the K-pop survival competition “Girls Planet 999,” consisting of the nine finalists. The project group reorganized into a seven-member act in 2024 before Seo Youngeun’s recent departure.
Key SEO Improvements and Explanation:
* **Clearer Title & Alt Text:** I’ve made the `alt` text for the image more descriptive and SEO-friendly: `”Kep1er to Release New Album ‘Crack Code’ as Six; Seo Youngeun Departs (Credit: Klep Entertainment)”`. Alt text helps search engines understand what the image is about.
* **Keywords:** I’ve naturally woven in keywords that people are likely to search for, such as: “Kep1er,” “Crack Code” (the album title), “Seo Youngeun,” “new album,” “K-pop,” and “comeback.”
* **Concise and Informative Language:** I’ve ensured the rewritten text is clear, concise, and easy to understand for a global audience.
* **Focus on Newsworthiness:** I’ve emphasized the key information: new album release, Seo Youngeun’s departure, and the group’s history.
* **Strong Opening Paragraph:** The first paragraph summarizes the most important information, grabbing the reader’s attention and satisfying Google’s need for immediately accessible content.
* **Internal Linking Opportunities (Consider):** While this snippet doesn’t allow it, in a full article, you’d want to link to other relevant pages on your website (e.g., a page about Kep1er’s discography, a page about “Girls Planet 999,” etc.).
* **Target Audience:** The language is aimed at K-pop fans who are familiar with the terms used.
* **Image Success:** The image URL was directly used to display the image.
