A grand support event is planned in Gwanghwamun to celebrate the return of BTS’s V!
BTS will release their 5th full-length album, ‘ARIRANG,’ on March 20th, and host the ‘BTS Comeback Live: ARIRANG’ performance around Gwanghwamun Square on the evening of the 21st. This performance will be broadcast live to over 190 countries worldwide via Netflix.
To support V, the Chinese fan club Baidu V Bar has prepared comeback and world tour support events in Gwanghwamun, Goyang, Tokyo, Busan, and more. As the first support initiative, a video celebrating V’s comeback will be broadcast on the digital outdoor billboard LUUX, located on the exterior wall of the Dong-A Media Center in Gwanghwamun.

The LUUX billboard measures 50m in width, 60m in height, and a total area of 3,000㎡, equivalent to the size of 12 volleyball courts. Its three-dimensional structure, combining curved and front surfaces, allows it to be viewed from three directions and boasts high visibility day and night. The video will also be visible from Seoul City Hall, Gwanghwamun Square, and the Cheonggyecheon area.
This is the first time V has personally adorned the LUUX billboard. Previously, it was primarily used for large-scale advertisements related to major corporations, global brands, culture, exhibitions, and entertainment. Baidu V Bar demonstrates its powerful fandom through active support.
This fan club has not only provided overseas tour support but has also organized special events for V’s birthday on December 30th, even during the high-cost season. They were the first Korean celebrities to showcase a light show celebrating V’s birthday on the Burj Khalifa building in Dubai for two consecutive years. Furthermore, he was the first individual worldwide to broadcast a birthday video on the New York Times Square ABC SuperSign LED billboard.

Various support activities have also been carried out domestically. They officially sponsored the ‘Seoul Christmas Festival’ in Cheonggyecheon, Seoul, installing a ‘Purple V’ zone featuring sculptures and illuminations. In Daegu, they created a massive 2-meter high, 60-meter long panoramic mural at V’s elementary school.
