Rising K-Pop group Cortis is set to release the focus track from their highly anticipated second EP on April 20th, ahead of the full album release on May 4th, Big Hit Music announced today. This comeback is generating significant buzz within the K-Pop community.
The five-member group will launch the EP “GreenGreen” approximately eight months after their successful debut EP, “Color Outside the Lines.” Their debut mini album impressively charted at No. 15 on the Billboard 200, a remarkable achievement and the highest ranking for a debut album from a non-project K-pop group, solidifying their place in the K-Pop landscape.
According to recent data, their first EP has already surpassed 2 million sales as of February. This makes them only the second K-Pop group, after Zerobaseone, to achieve this milestone with a debut album, highlighting Cortis’s growing popularity and impact on the music industry.
The five tracks from their debut EP have collectively amassed over 400 million streams on Spotify, showcasing their widespread appeal and solidifying their position as a force to be reckoned with in the K-Pop scene. Fans eagerly await the release of “GreenGreen” to see what new sounds and concepts Cortis will bring.
