IVE continues their reign at the top of domestic music charts for the second consecutive week with their latest hit, “Bang Bang,” according to their agency, Starship Entertainment, on Tuesday.
The pre-release single, launched last month in anticipation of IVE’s highly anticipated second LP, “Revive+,” has achieved an all-kill status across all major Korean music charts – a remarkable feat and a first for any song released this year. The electronic dance track has not only captivated listeners but has also garnered the six-member group four prestigious trophies from various music chart shows, solidifying their chart-topping success.
Despite the song’s immense popularity, the 12-track album, “Revive+,” experienced slightly lower than expected initial sales. The album sold just under 700,000 copies in its first week, falling short of the sales figures achieved by IVE’s previous releases, which include four EPs and one full-length LP.
IVE is scheduled to embark on their “Show What I Am” concert series, commencing an Asia and Australia tour starting April 4.
