BTS’s Jungkook’s solo track, ‘Please Don’t Change’, continues its strong performance on global music charts.
The song, included in Jungkook’s first solo album ‘GOLDEN’ released in November 2023, reached number one on the Worldwide iTunes Song Chart on February 28th.
Despite being a B-side track released two years ago, ‘Please Don’t Change’ experienced a reverse run on the charts, climbing to number one on February 26th and maintaining the top spot for three consecutive days through February 28th. It also topped the European iTunes Song Chart for two consecutive days on February 26th and 27th, ranking second on the 28th.

Jungkook’s album ‘GOLDEN’ ranked 11th and 16th on the Worldwide and European iTunes Album Charts, respectively. Moreover, it holds the record for the longest charting K-pop solo artist album on both charts, with a total of 442 days and 235 days respectively.
‘Please Don’t Change’ has surpassed 219 million streams on Spotify. Additionally, ‘GOLDEN’ has achieved 6.79 billion cumulative streams, the highest number of streams for a regular album by an Asian artist on Spotify, and is approaching 6.8 billion.
Jungkook was recently named the only K-pop artist on the list of the ‘Top 25 Most Famous Persons in the World’, alongside prominent figures from various fields worldwide. He was also included in the top 15 most famous people in the world selected by the American portal site ‘AOL’. He and ‘Justin Bieber’ were the only two male artists selected.
