Jungkook ‘Please Don’t Change’ Global iTunes Chart #1, European iTunes Chart #1, Viral Comeback, 2026 Asia B-Side First

BTS’s Jungkook’s “Please Don’t Change” is experiencing a reverse run on global music platforms, reaching number one.

“Please Don’t Change,” a track from Jungkook’s first solo album “GOLDEN,” released in November 2023, re-entered the iTunes Worldwide and European Song Charts on February 26th, securing the top spot on both.

With “Please Don’t Change,” released in 2023, Jungkook became the first Asian artist in 2026 to top both charts simultaneously. This B-side track, released over two years ago, surpassed new releases such as Taylor Swift’s “The Fate of Ophelia” and Bruno Mars’ “I Just Might” to claim the number one position.

The song also reached number one on iTunes Song Charts in 23 countries, including Brazil, Germany, Russia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Spain, and Saudi Arabia. It also ranked high on the US iTunes chart, reaching 5th place.

Jungkook’s solo album “GOLDEN” also re-entered the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart at number 18 and the European Album Chart at number 46 on the same day. The album has remained on the charts for a cumulative total of 441 days and 234 days, respectively, continuing its record as the longest-charting album by a K-pop solo artist.

Jungkook’s self-composed song “Still with You” also topped the iTunes Song Charts in four countries, including Indonesia, Ukraine, and Qatar, and entered charts in 27 countries. On the February 26th Global Digital Artist Ranking, Jungkook rose 199 places from the previous day to reach 41st place.

“Please Don’t Change” has surpassed 200 million streams on Spotify, making it the fifth track from the “GOLDEN” album to achieve this milestone. This electronic dance-pop song, a collaboration with DJ Snake, is known for its trendy sound and Jungkook’s distinctive vocals.
