BTS’s Jimin solidifies his unrivaled presence by being selected as the best K-Pop dancer in a global poll.
Jimin recently took first place in the ‘TOP100 BEST MALE DANCERS 2026’ poll conducted by the global voting site ‘DABEME’. This marks his 8th consecutive year at the top since 2019.

Jimin also topped the ‘Best Dancer’ poll conducted by the global voting app KOOKY, garnering a total of 2,173,584 votes and receiving 94% support. This further proves his skill as a top-tier dancer representing K-Pop.

Jimin debuted as the main dancer of BTS in 2013 and has since showcased various dance genres. As the top student in Busan Arts High School, he honed his skills in various dance forms from his school days and is praised for creating the ‘Jimin Genre’ with his artistic stage performances that combine classical dance and hip-hop dance.
Billboard in the US described Jimin as the “King of Modern Dance.” He is evaluated as delivering artistic performances that are like works of art with his perfect command of not only modern dance but also various genres, along with his delicate emotional expression and stage performances tailored to the song.
Jimin is drawing attention on the global stage with titles such as ‘God of Dance’ and ‘Stage Emperor’. He received a plaque of appreciation from the ‘Kim Baek-bong Fan Dance Preservation Society’, Intangible Cultural Heritage No. 3 of South Pyongan Province, for his fan dance performance at the 2018 Melon Music Awards (MMA). Global fans are also focusing on his new album comeback stage, which will be held in Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul on March 21st.
