BTS’s Jungkook’s solo track “Seven” has surpassed 2.8 billion streams on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform. “Seven,” Jungkook’s first official solo debut single, has solidified its place as a global hit song, becoming the first song by an Asian artist and the first released in 2023 to reach this milestone.
As of February 22nd, “Seven” ranked 69th among the most streamed songs of all time on Spotify worldwide. Furthermore, it continues to enjoy sustained popularity, remaining on Spotify’s weekly chart, “Weekly Top Songs Global,” for 136 consecutive weeks, the longest period for any song by an Asian solo artist.
“Seven” continues to dominate global music charts, charting on Billboard’s “Global 200” and “Global Excl. US” charts for 132 and 135 weeks, respectively, a first for any Asian artist.
According to Spotify’s 2025 year-end report, “Wrapped,” “Seven” ranked 8th in the most streamed K-pop songs globally. Despite being released over a year ago, it continues to maintain a top position, proving its sustained popularity.

Previously, “Seven” achieved the fastest time in Spotify history to reach 100 million, 900 million, 1 billion, and 1.1 billion streams. It also topped Spotify’s “Daily Top Songs Global” chart for a total of 71 days, a first for any song by an Asian artist, and topped the “Weekly Top Songs Global” chart for 9 consecutive weeks in 2023, the longest period for any male artist worldwide.
Following “Seven,” Jungkook also has “Standing Next To You” (1.4 billion streams), giving him two songs with over 1.4 billion streams. He also boasts a total of four songs that have surpassed 1.1 billion streams, including “Seven,” “Standing Next to You,” “3D” (1.11 billion), and “Left and Right” (1.15 billion), solidifying his presence as a global pop star.
Furthermore, “Seven” gifted Jungkook with a debut at number one on Billboard’s main singles chart, “Hot 100,” and remained on the chart for 15 weeks.
Meanwhile, Jungkook’s personal Spotify profile has recorded a total of 10.46 billion streams, making him the first K-pop solo artist and the Asian artist to reach this milestone in the shortest amount of time, including all credits.
