– New Album Launch Celebrates ‘National Museum of Korea X BLACKPINK’ Project
BLACKPINK (Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, Lisa) is generating buzz as individual member visuals are unveiled ahead of their comeback next week.
On February 20th, YG Entertainment posted ‘[DEADLINE] VISUAL POSTER – DEADLINE ver.’ on its official blog. Following the ‘Red light ver.’ and ‘Statue ver.’ posters, which showcased each member’s individual charm, this additional image highlights the powerful visual synergy of all four members in one frame.
The members, dressed in all-black outfits, exude a strong charisma. Bold cut-outs, refined lines in their clothing, and unique hairstyles accentuate each member’s individuality, creating a striking yet sophisticated atmosphere.
This poster’s distinct mood contrasts with previously released teasers, drawing significant attention. Known for their ability to master diverse concepts with each album, fans are speculating and eagerly anticipating the musical world BLACKPINK will unveil this time.
BLACKPINK’s 3rd mini-album [DEADLINE] will be released on February 27th at 2 PM KST. The album includes a total of 5 tracks: the title track ‘GO’, pre-release track ‘JUMP’, ‘Me and my’, ‘Champion’, and ‘Fxxxboy’. YG Entertainment stated, “[DEADLINE], as the title suggests, will be an album filled with ‘irrevocable, the best moments’ and ‘BLACKPINK’s shining present moment’.”
Meanwhile, BLACKPINK will present the ‘National Museum of Korea X BLACKPINK’ project from February 26th to March 8th at the National Museum of Korea. This special collaboration, powered by Spotify, will feature pink lighting on the museum’s exterior and audio guides of representative artifacts narrated by the members. A listening session for all tracks from the 3rd mini-album will be held in the main lobby’s History Road. Pre-sessions are already sold out following reservation openings, while post-release sessions are open to everyone.
