Girl group IVE teases their new album with a narcissism campaign film featuring Jang Wonyoung and Lee Seo, generating excitement among fans.
Starship Entertainment, the agency representing IVE (Ahn Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz, and Lee Seo), revealed “THE NARCISSISTIC GURLS CAMPAIGN” content featuring Jang Wonyoung and Lee Seo on IVE’s official social media on the 13th, ahead of their 2nd full-length album ‘REVIVE+’ release on the 23rd.
The released content showcases the “THE NARCISSISTIC GURLS CAMPAIGN” videos featuring Jang Wonyoung and Lee Seo. Jang Wonyoung is seen meditating while listening to “Jang Wonyoung Frequency,” along with the phrase “Fall into my black hole-like charm” while winking, portraying an adorable narcissism. Notably, she humorously incorporates popular memes like “Queen never cry” and “I am lucky Vicky,” along with her symbol “Lucky Vicky,” while reading a book titled “I am Jang Wonyoung (Subtitle: 50 Ways to Become Jang Wonyoung),” showcasing a confident self-love with wit.
Lee Seo captivates viewers with her styling, matching a vibrant red faux fur hat with glasses. The video showcases her daily life, including studying diligently, spending time with her sisters (fellow IVE members), and getting enough sleep, accompanied by witty subtitles like “cool girl’s daily self-care routine,” presented with a trendy aesthetic. Lee Seo’s emphasis on “pretty face, pretty heart, pretty soul” while looking in the mirror clearly demonstrates a proactive attitude equating outer and inner beauty.

The photos and short videos of the two members incorporate a Y2K aesthetic and trendy sensibility through the use of digital camera-like textures and fonts, once again proving their status as “MZ Wannabe Icons.” Ahead of the release of their new album, IVE is reinterpreting “prettiness” as a proactive attitude of cherishing oneself through “THE NARCISSISTIC GURLS CAMPAIGN,” presenting a new direction for narcissism that they have been building. Expanding the narrative that has centered around the existing “self” to a perspective of “us,” their 2nd full-length album is expected to foreshadow the next chapter towards greater possibilities through the title track “BLACKHOLE.”
Previously, the pre-released track “BANG BANG,” unveiled on the 9th, topped domestic and international charts immediately after its release, demonstrating their power as “sound source giants.”
IVE’s 2nd full-length album ‘REVIVE+’ will be released on various online music sites on the 23rd at 6 PM (KST).
