The K-pop group ZEROBASEONE (ZB1) is embarking on a new chapter as a 5-member group consisting of Sung Hanbin, Kim Jiwoong, Park Gunwook, Kim Taerae, and Seok Matthew.
On February 12th, WakeOne announced, “Based on deep trust, Sung Hanbin, Kim Jiwoong, Seok Matthew, Kim Taerae, and Park Gunwook have decided to continue together as ZEROBASEONE in a new season.”
WakeOne stated that this decision was made after sufficient discussions with the agency members Seok Matthew, Kim Taerae, and Park Gunwook, as well as Sung Hanbin, Kim Jiwoong, and their respective agencies.
WakeOne added, “We will spare no effort in providing full support to ensure the stable establishment of the 5-member group’s activities. At the same time, we will continue to communicate with all members so that they can grow together as partners.”
“Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyubin, and Han Yujin will conclude their predetermined project period and prepare for new endeavors,” WakeOne continued. “We support their future and ask for your unwavering encouragement and support for the members who will be embarking on new paths.”

The ‘2026 ZEROBASEONE WORLD TOUR [HERE & NOW] ENCORE’ performance will feature all nine members on stage together to meet their fans.
ZEROBASEONE, also known as ZB1, is a 9-member multinational boy group formed through Mnet’s ‘Boys Planet’ in 2023. Their debut album, ‘YOUTH IN THE SHADE’, achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the first debut album by a K-pop group to achieve ‘Million Seller’ status. Since then, all six of their released albums have achieved consecutive million-seller status, proving their overwhelming popularity. They have also swept 10 rookie awards at major domestic and international award ceremonies, achieving a ‘Rookie Grand Slam’ and solidifying their unique presence as a leading 5th generation group.
ZEROBASEONE, who have been active for a project period of 2 years and 6 months, will conclude their official activities with the world tour encore concert ‘HERE & NOW’, which will be held at the KSPO DOME in Seoul from March 13th to 15th.
