Nmixx is making history as the first K-pop artist to perform at the Brazilian Carnival, a world-renowned and vibrant celebration.
JYP Entertainment has announced that Nmixx will grace the stage at the Brazilian Carnival Sao Paulo, taking place from February 14th to 18th.
The K-pop group will be a special guest on February 16th at a “block party” hosted by Brazilian pop sensation Pabllo Vittar, a central highlight of the carnival. These “block parties” are massive street celebrations that define the Brazilian Carnival experience.
“This performance marks a landmark cultural exchange between K-pop and Brazilian pop music, both of which have resonated with fans globally,” stated JYP Entertainment in a press release.
Nmixx and Vittar previously collaborated on the single “Mexe,” launched in August 2025. The song merges Nmixx’s unique mix-pop style with Vittar’s energetic Brazilian pop sound. Featuring both Korean and Portuguese lyrics alongside Latin-inspired choreography, “Mexe” exemplifies their collaboration.
Since their debut in 2022, Nmixx has cultivated a strong Brazilian fanbase. Their upcoming appearance at the Brazilian Carnival underscores their rising prominence in the region and commitment to connecting with international fans. Get ready for Nmixx at the Brazilian Carnival!
