Le Sserafim Encore Seoul Concert: Tight Choreography

Le Sserafim Encore Seoul Concert: Tight Choreography

Le Sserafim’s “Easy Crazy Hot” tour culminated in a high-end production spectacle, though the rapid-fire setlist allowed for limited performer interaction.

Le Sserafim celebrated the grand finale of their first world tour, “Easy Crazy Hot,” with a sold-out encore concert in Seoul on Sunday, marking the end of their journey of 31 shows across 20 cities. This marks a significant milestone for the K-Pop group, solidifying their global presence.

Held at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium, the final show attracted a packed audience, with only a few limited-view seats remaining. Fans (“Fearnot”) came in droves to support the K-Pop stars.

The tour, which kicked off in Incheon in April of the previous year, was nearly a year-long endeavor for the group. Showing incredible stamina, the members delivered a high-energy three-hour set, featuring 26 songs, including original tracks and new arrangements, displaying no signs of weariness.

This tour served as the climax of Le Sserafim’s three-part album project, centered around their EPs “Easy,” “Crazy,” and “Hot,” showcasing their musical evolution.

Mirroring this structure, the concert began with the impactful “Born Fire,” followed by “Ash” and “Hot,” all taken from the group’s fifth EP. It was only after transitioning to earlier hits like “Good Bones” and “Easy” that the members took their first break for opening remarks, encouraging the audience to “forget about holding back and enjoy yourselves.”

While the setlist highlighted the trilogy, the group also performed past chart-toppers such as “Fearless,” “Unforgiven,” and various remixes of their debut single, “Spaghetti.”

From a visual standpoint, the concert was exceptionally ambitious. The main stage featured a large triangular structure, transforming the entire setup into a dynamic sculpture. The lighting was designed to complement the stage design.

During earlier segments that featured “Flash Forward,” “Blue Flame,” and “So Cynical (Badum),” the group utilized a flying deck, moving between seating sections to interact more closely with fans.

Oversized LED screens amplified the immersive experience for the audience, while intense laser effects and pyrotechnics during songs such as “Ash,” “Come Over,” and “No Celestial” added to the spectacle. The visual effects were specifically designed to wow the audience.

The laser-centric staging of “Chasing Lightning” was so intense that it felt more like a light show than a standard concert performance.

However, this visual spectacle came with a trade-off.

Throughout the 180-minute runtime, the group maintained perfect choreography and visual precision, primarily due to the performance relying heavily on pre-recorded vocals. Similar to many K-pop concerts, layered backing tracks were used to maintain sound quality during physically demanding choreography.

Le Sserafim’s concert appeared to heavily incorporate LAR (Live AR), pre-recorded to simulate live breathing and vocal texture, creating the impression of live singing while the members only added a minimal amount of live vocals on top.

Considering the group’s intense choreography, this decision was understandable. The result was a technically polished performance devoid of any noticeable errors. However, it also meant limited opportunities to hear the members’ genuine vocal abilities.

This absence was noticeable, especially given past discussions surrounding their live vocal performances — including debates following Huh Yun-jin’s solo ballad performance at the Golden Disc Awards in January and their much-discussed Coachella performance in 2024.

Consequently, while the encore concert was seamlessly executed and well-polished, it felt somewhat lacking in raw emotion and spontaneity.

Another minor drawback was the absence of a universally recognized singalong anthem.

Le Sserafim has produced a number of popular tracks, including “Fearless,” “Antifragile,” “Easy,” and “Crazy,” however, none of these songs quite reached the level of a full-blown, crowd-wide chant.

The concert was high-energy throughout, but lacked a distinct peak moment.

Nevertheless, the tour’s conclusion highlighted the group’s dedication. Despite continued controversies and high expectations, Le Sserafim finished their first world tour with evident unity and professionalism.

“If the members weren’t here, I don’t know how we would have gotten through this tour,” the group stated, reflecting on their journey. “We’re not the same as when we started.”

They also expressed their gratitude to their fans.

“Thanks to Fearnot (Le Sserafim’s fandom), we were able to experience so much,” the group shared. “A big part of what makes a great concert is the audience, and your energy made every show unforgettable. Knowing there are people who love our music and our performances gives us strength. As long as we’re together — members and fans — we’re excited for whatever comes next. We’ll return all the love we’ve received.”

* **Addressing Vocal Debate:** The rewrite carefully addresses the ongoing debate regarding Le Sserafim’s live vocals, presenting both sides of the argument in a balanced manner.
* **Emphasis on Fanbase (Fearnot):** Mentioning the fanbase name “Fearnot” is important for targeting fans who are searching specifically for content related to the group and their supporters.
* **Improved Introduction and Conclusion:** The introduction clearly states the article’s purpose and highlights the key takeaways. The conclusion summarizes the main points and reinforces the group’s resilience and connection with their fans.
* **Added Relevant Terms**: Terms like “chart-toppers”, “high-energy” are added to add more context for the topic.
