Rising K-pop sensation Illit has achieved another significant milestone, with the music video for their track “It’s Me” officially surpassing 100 million views on YouTube as of Saturday. This impressive feat highlights the group’s growing global popularity and reach.
This marks the second music video from the popular K-pop quintet to reach the coveted 100 million view mark, following the immense success of their breakthrough debut single, “Magnetic.” The music video for “It’s Me,” a captivating main track from Illit’s fourth EP titled “Mamihlapinatapai,” rapidly accumulated these 100 million plays in under 80 days, showcasing the dedicated support from their fanbase worldwide.
In further signs of their global impact, Illit’s first single album’s title track, “Not Cute Anymore,” has garnered over 200 million streams on Spotify as of Friday, according to the platform’s Sunday report. This hit single also previously charted at No. 7 on Billboard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100, underscoring their strong presence in the international music scene.
Looking ahead, the talented K-pop group is set to release their second Japanese single, “I Got Your Back,” this Sunday. Fans can anticipate the physical album to become available in stores three days later. This new single drop strategically coincides with Illit’s final performance in Tokyo, a key stop on their inaugural Asia tour. The tour is slated to conclude with a highly anticipated show in Hong Kong on August 22.
