BTS V’s emotional vocals have completely captivated German fans.
BTS held their Arirang World Tour concerts at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, on the 11th and 12th (local time), achieving two consecutive sold-out shows. This marks the first time an Asian artist has sold out two consecutive shows at this 75,000-capacity venue.
GQ Germany covered the BTS concert, which sold out over two days in Munich, featuring the stage performance and V’s vocals in their on-site report. The publication praised V’s vocals, stating, “V’s deep and soulful voice gently caresses the ears like a spoonful of warm honey softly coating the mouth.”

V also garnered attention for his vocals from media and critics in BTS’s 5th studio album, ‘ARIRANG’. The New York Times (NYT), in its review of the ‘ARIRANG’ album, analyzed that “V delivers the most passionate and powerful voice,” praising his solid and charming vocals for elevating the overall atmosphere of the songs.

GQ Germany further noted about ‘Into the Sun’, a track V spontaneously completed after being inspired by a melody that came to him on his way back from a workout: “It concludes the performance with an atmosphere akin to an anime ending theme, leaving a long-lasting, poignant and bittersweet afterglow.”
The publication also shared photos on social media of V wearing an FC Bayern Munich jersey at the concert, explaining, “V took to the stage wearing a specially produced FC Bayern uniform as a tribute to the city and local fans during the Munich performance.” FC Bayern Munich, whose home stadium is the Allianz Arena, has frequently expressed its affection for V, declaring “My favorite is Tae (V’s nickname)” in 2023.
