Will TWICE’s Tzuyu continue her journey with JYP Entertainment?
On the 14th, a representative from JYP Entertainment informed Star News regarding the rumors of Tzuyu’s potential departure, stating, “TWICE is currently in a period of re-contract discussions.” The representative added, “We will provide an update as soon as the matter is finalized.”
Earlier today, News1 reported that Tzuyu, a Taiwanese member, had reportedly agreed not to renew her exclusive contract with her current agency, JYP Entertainment. However, the report also stated that TWICE’s activities as a complete group are expected to continue.
Tzuyu debuted as a member of the global K-pop girl group TWICE in 2015 and has been active for 11 years. TWICE quickly rose to prominence as a top-tier girl group, releasing numerous hit songs such as ‘Like OOH-AHH,’ ‘CHEER UP,’ and ‘TT.’ They have also continuously expanded their global reach, successfully holding tours in various international locations, including Japan.
Meanwhile, TWICE recently concluded their highly successful sixth world tour, titled ‘THIS IS FOR,’ which spanned approximately one year.
