K-pop sensation and Tomorrow X Together (TXT) member Yeonjun has shattered personal records with the release of his highly anticipated second solo EP, “No Labels: Part 02,” marking a significant milestone in his career.
The new solo EP, “No Labels: Part 02,” achieved astounding success on its release day, Friday, by selling an impressive 661,924 copies, according to the prestigious Hanteo Chart. This remarkable figure not only topped the daily physical album sales chart but also significantly surpassed the first-week sales of his previous solo project, “No Labels: Part 01,” which garnered 601,105 copies during its initial week of release.
Further solidifying its impact, Big Hit Music confirmed that “No Labels: Part 02” holds the distinction of recording the highest first-day sales among all Korean solo artists this year, underscoring Yeonjun’s immense popularity and influence.
Yeonjun’s global appeal was also evident, with “No Labels: Part 02” achieving remarkable international success. The EP dominated the iTunes Top Albums chart, reaching No. 1 in 11 regions worldwide, including key markets like Japan, Thailand, and Saudi Arabia. Its global footprint extended further by securing the No. 5 spot on the Worldwide iTunes Album Chart and No. 10 on the European iTunes Album Chart.
The lead single from Yeonjun’s latest EP, the vibrant track “Ice Cream,” also demonstrated significant individual success. It soared to the top of the iTunes Top Songs chart in 10 regions, including the United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, and the Philippines, showcasing its widespread appeal.
Prior to the album’s official drop, Yeonjun hosted an exclusive release party in Seoul on Thursday, which was livestreamed globally to connect with fans worldwide. This highly anticipated event drew an astonishing 2.8 million viewers on TikTok, according to Big Hit Music, setting a new platform record for the highest livestream viewership for an artist this year and highlighting the artist’s strong fan engagement.
As the sequel to last year’s successful “No Labels: Part 01,” the new EP, “No Labels: Part 02,” features a total of six dynamic tracks. Yeonjun’s deep artistic involvement is evident, as he not only contributed to creating the captivating choreography for the lead track “Ice Cream” but also penned the lyrics for two engaging side tracks, “Baby Wassup?” and “Long Way Long Ride.”
