Global K-pop sensation Jimin of BTS has achieved a remarkable milestone, with his solo single “Like Crazy” surpassing 400 million streams on Spotify across both its Korean and English versions. This achievement marks a significant first for a K-pop artist, as confirmed by his label, Big Hit Music.
“Like Crazy” served as the lead single from Jimin’s highly anticipated debut solo album, “Face,” which was released in March 2023. The track made history by soaring to the No. 1 position on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, marking an unprecedented feat for a K-pop solo artist. Jimin’s artistic involvement extended to co-writing the lyrics and melody for this popular synth-pop tune.
Delving deeper into its streaming success, the Korean rendition of “Like Crazy” reportedly boasts over 1.4 billion plays on Spotify. Furthermore, the English version of the track has independently achieved the 400-million stream milestone, making it Jimin’s fourth solo song to do so, alongside other hits like “Who” and “Set Me Free Pt. 2.”
In other news, Jimin is currently engaged in the European leg of BTS’ “Arirang” tour. The globally acclaimed group is scheduled to perform in Munich, Germany, this Saturday and Sunday.
